Are you getting enough sleep/rest?
Some people don't think that getting enough rest and sleep is good for them or they think that they are fine and don't need it as much as they think.
Rest is vital for better mental health, increased concentration and memory, a healthier immune system, reduced stress, improved mood and even a better metabolism. A day of rest allows your body to repair tissues damaged from the mechanical stress of exercise.
Specifically, rest allows time for the fibroblasts—individual cells that repair damaged tissues such as muscle proteins—to do their job and repair any tissues that need it.
When it comes to exercise, sometimes less is more. Avoiding rest days can set you up for things like repetitive stress injuries or overtraining, which will eventually force you to take some rest days—whether you like it or not. A well-designed exercise program—one that will help you meet your goals—includes adequate rest to fully recover from the stresses of hard exercise.

Being able to shut down, relax, meditate, stretch, or anything in that nature that will still make you rest as well as benefit your body is great to do as well. You are allowing your body to rest while you work on your body all at the same time and helping you mental health ih the process. All forms of health are connected and rest is key to making them all work together.
