Distractions

Distractions are all around us all the time. Do you tend to get distracted a lot, sometimes to the point that you don't get the things that you should get done, done? Keeping yourself from getting distracted can be difficult but you can catch yourself or even keep yourself from doing it.

Our phones are one of our biggest distractions especially now a days. There are so many apps, games and people to talk to on our phones that it's so easy to get lost in it. There are also tools on our phones to help us from getting too distracted by it and help us manage our time.


For example:

Screen Time: the screen time options in your settings where you can set time limits on for certain apps or even screen time in general.

Focus: the focus settings are available for you to set up on your phone as well. You can set different Focus categories that you could turn on during different activities that you will be doing through out your day.

Timers: Setting timers for certain activities is a great thing to do as well that was you don't spend too much time with one task. You set a timer for each task and only spend that much time on each task and when the timer goes off you move on to the next. Sometimes its hard because you get into what you are doing but that's ok, you can continue it later because there are other things to get done as well. (I can be bad at this one)


There are so many things that we can use and take advantage of to keep ourselves from getting distracted, we just need to find them and use them. Just like anything, getting into it and getting it started isn't going to be the greatest but once again its one of those things where you will get used to it and think that you're life is so much easier to keep control of, especially after you see the results it gives you.

In Conclusion, you live in a world with beautiful things, amazing people, family, friends, and so much more. Being distracted isn't going to help you do the things that you want and should be doing in life. Therefore, take control of your life and don't let things distract you.
